Apple Betty

"This is an apple crisp like recipe my grandma cut out of a Betty Crocker magazine in the 40s or 50s"

Ingredients

    • 8 -10 medium apples
    • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 cups quaker quick-cooking oats
    • 1 cup flour
    • 1 cup butter ( 1 stick = 1/2 cup)
    • 1 dash cinnamon

Directions

  1. Pre heat oven to 350.
  2. peel apples and cut or slice them.
  3. put cut apples in baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon.
  5. mix oats, flour, sugar and melted butter.
  6. Stead mixture on top of apples.
  7. bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
