Buffalo Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
8 oz reduced fat cream cheese
1/3 cup Franks Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 cup chicken broth (or stock)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup Reduced Fat Blue Cheese Dressing
1 lb boneless, skinless cooked chicken breast, cubed
12 oz whole wheat penne pasta
Optional Toppings
Blue Cheese crumbles
Green Onions
Additional Buffalo Sauce
Instructions
1.In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, combine cream cheese, buffalo sauce, chicken broth and all the spices
2.Let cook for 5 minutes, or until all ingredients come together and is creamy
3.Add in blue cheese dressing & chicken and let cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally
4.In a large pot bring water to a boil
5.Add in pasta and let cook for 10-12 minutes, or until pasta reaches al dente
6.Drain pasta
7.Combine pasta with buffalo sauce
8.Cook for an additional 5-10 minutes
9.Top with any additional toppings you desire
